The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), which reflects the research and innovation priorities and intervention areas of the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP), has been updated as of the end of 2024 and published on the Partnership’s website.
The updated document includes the fundamental features, components, and implementation strategy of the Partnership, as well as the cross-cutting enablers within the blue economy. By adding “resilient coastal communities and businesses” as an intervention area, the Partnership aims to promote R&I activities focused on coastal and maritime tourism, socio-ecological systems, and addressing the risks arising from the degradation of the marine environment.
The updated SRIA document will guide the planning for the Partnership’s third call, set to launch in September 2025. You can download the updated SRIA by clicking the link or using the "DOWNLOAD the DOCUMENT" option below this news piece.
